Angus Brands embarks on a brand new venture.
I was nineteen when my parents started Angus Meats and Delicatessen. I started with cleaning up the meat departments where Dad worked. In no time I had moved up to box-boy, then checker, and so-forth, until becoming a Journeyman Grocer.
As time went on, Angus Meats was providing the finest selections of protein cuts available to our neighborhood. As the word spread, so did our reach. We took on the growth by becoming USDA Inspected so we could service our neighbors in Idaho and Montana, as well as local restaurants in and around the Spokane area. In 2016 we found support selling our products in Local Grocery Stores such as Rosauers, Yokes, Super 1, and Harvest Foods, and other exclusive retail – an enterprise far surpassing our humble beginnings in 1972.
Angus Meats has served as Spokane’s premiere meat purveyor and processor for close to 5 decades. Our plant is rigorously inspected by the USDA as well as 3rd party auditors. We continue to serve grocery stores and restaurants, but now, more than ever, we believe the individual consumer deserves immediate access to the kind of quality and service we provide, with minimal handling and maximum convenience. Home delivery has been on our list, and here we are, albeit abruptly, jumping in with both feet.
